Role in the project

Inuru GmbH, in collaboration with other industrial partners, aims to demonstrate the versatility of the models and AI tools developed in this project for creating safe and sustainable by design (SSbD) transparent wood. This innovative material holds promise for various industrial applications such as lighting and decoration, where its transparency offers a compelling alternative to conventional synthetic plastic materials. Leveraging our expertise in thin OLED-based printed electronics, Inuru GmbH seeks to seamlessly integrate the newly developed transparent wood into ultra-thin and flexible ELF (Flexible OLED-based label incorporating circuitry, connectors, energy sources, etc.).
Furthermore, Inuru's OLED-based lamps will be seamlessly incorporated into plywood using transparent veneer sheets as a top layer, replacing current phenol-formaldehyde resins in interior walls, decorative ceiling panels, and furniture components.
